POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Glenview family looking for an experienced nanny to care for their three children ages 2, 7 and 10 years old. This position needs to be filled ASAP.

Candidates should be active, and able to juggle the needs of three children of different ages. Care will be primarily for 2 year old, who has cerebral palsy, while the other children are in school. Nanny should have experience or interest in learning about CP and the various therapies involved in working with children with CP. Family hopes to work with someone compassionate, but able to set limits and be consistent.

Nanny should have a safe, reliable car in excellent working order she is willing to use to transport the children. Family will reimburse for gas and mileage and will provide a car seat for the 2 year old.

Hours are M-F 8a-6p. Priority given to candidates willing to stay late some evenings. Guaranteed hours, two weeks paid vacation, paid sick days and 7 paid federal holidays offered to qualified candidates.

Candidates should have experience working with school aged children and be organized, proactive and able to help with homework. A safe, reliable car in excellent working order is required for use to transport children to/from activities and school. Family will reimburse for gas and mileage.

Hours are M-F 10:30-6:30. Household management duties include: laundry, loading/unloading dishwasher, tidying in between professional cleanings, errands, grocery shopping and household organization.

POSITION TITLE:

Experienced Nanny Needed in Wilmette

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Busy family of 4 is looking for an active, loving, energized nanny to care for their two daughters, ages 19 months and 3 months to begin part time August 31st with full time hours starting September 21st.

Family is looking for a strong communicator, someone who takes initiative and is dedicated to working with children. Family has a medium sized dog: nanny should be comfortable letting dog into the yard occasionally during the day-- nothing more related to the dog is required. Candidates should be experienced in handling expressed breast milk. Family would love help getting their infant on a sleeping/feeding schedule.

Additional duties include: children’s laundry, tidying messes made by the children, hand washing bottles and breast pump parts, loading/unloading dishwasher, meal prep for children, and making purees for infant.

Starting September 21st hours will be roughly 6:30-5:30 M-F. Family will guarantee 50 hours per week, although most weeks nanny will work (and be paid for) closer to 55 hours. Family will guarantee 25 hours during the end of mom’s maternity leave to help transition nanny in. They hope to start someone for these part time hours August 31st.

Two weeks paid vacation, 7 paid federal holidays and paid sick days offered to qualified candidates.

Friendly and hard working dad is seeking a long term nanny to care for his sweet 3 year old daughter, Monday-Friday from 4-8pm. She would need to be picked up from her daycare at 4pm and taken home. He is looking for someone who can help prepare easy but healthy dinners for his daughter, play with her, and get her ready for bed. He works long days and gets home at 8pm. The ideal nanny would be someone very responsible, outgoing, and fun loving. No housecleaning, but picking up after his daughter and tidying up the kitchen after cooking is expected. They live in a great neighborhood with plenty of stuff to do. His daughter is imaginative and creative so the nanny must love to do crafts!
